'Elizabeth and Alex' (Herrington-T., 2023)
26 x 4.25 Evergreen Midseason Rebloom 5-way branching and 25 Buds Parentage: (Saturdays are For the Boys x Green Rainbow) Named for Elizabeth and Alex Salter who are daylily royalty in our society. Purple with huge green throat surrounded by ¼” darker purple eye. A strong midrib bisects the throat and eyezone. The form is wide open and recurves somewhat as the season progresses.
'Gaudy Green Lipstick' (Herrington-H., 2023)
24 x 6, Midseason, Rebloom, Dormant, Diploid, Fragrant, 18 buds, 3 branches, Unusual Form Cascade. The color is guava red with darker stenciled eye and large green throat. 20 x 3.87 Dormant Late Rebloom 5-way branching and 26 Buds Parentage: (Banana Split Cupcake X Plum Cupcake) Ginger with light plum petaloids and eye. The true petals roll back just enough to display the beautiful petaloid segments. The doubling is full and consistent from the beginning to the end of the daylily bloom season. Has a tiny green, yellow throat.

The color is bright tangerine with a darker eye and veining. It starts blooming very early here and the form and color look quite different on cool nights and mornings. The large raspberry purple eye encircles a bright green throat. The violet veins extend from the throat to the border of the petals. An extra bonus is the beveled midribs that rush across the petals. The large chartreuse green throat pattern on both petals and sepals is positioned perfectly underneath its bright vermilion brushed eye which adds to the distinction of this beautiful flower. This flower is best described as an electric canary with a mulberry stippled eye and green throat. This daylily packs a lot of blooms on its scapes and through repeated reblooms. 24 x 7 Unusual Form Cascade Dormant Midseason Rebloom 3-way branching and 12 Buds. Parentage: (Carnival in Oz x Oz’s Scarecrow) This unusual form is unusual and crazy but is so sweet looking. It is an exciting orange with a light red eye that is fused into the sepals and petals with a yellow green throat.
'Tarantula Curls' (Herrington-H., 2023)
24 x 6 inches, Midseason, Rebloom, Dormant, Diploid, 18 buds, 3 branches, Spider Ratio 4.56:1. We need more spiders and Heather surely has a winner with this one and its widespread form and stunning curls. This spider is a very special lavender with a purple chevron eye and large green throat with recessed lavender midribs. This will become a classic in the future. When it was a seedling just sprouted from seed Heather ran out of planting room and had to plant it at the edge of the yard near a tree, but it still performed beautifully. The flowers’ throat is unusually wide and green. The petals are outlined in a narrow gold edge. It has a pink base color with a watercolor patterned fuchsia eye. The three colors on the stamens extending from its green throat adds to the overall beauty of the bloom which is just a piece of art. The soil temperature can make this done appear to have various shades of pink depending on the time of the year, since it is a repeat bloomer here. (Electric Eyes × Dixieland Five)
